Liverpool International Music Festival
Liverpool International Music Festival takes value for money very seriously. It’s staged at the city of Liverpool’s iconic Sefton Park and will showcase a diverse set of music, featuring both well-known artists and your next favourite up-and-coming acts. This year the festival is held on the 21-22 July and tickets start from just £5.00 – and that’s for a line-up that includes today’s chart toppers, legendary DJs and unmissable newcomers. Organisers promise up to 18 hours of live music covering Pop to Urban to House as well as great activities suitable for families. Book tickets here: http://www.limfestival.com/
The British Grand Prix
The world’s most famous racing event comes to the UK every summer and always promises to be a massive draw, both for motorsport fans here at home and international visitors chasing the F1 action. As with previous years, Silverstone track hosts the event and becomes a hotbed of racing activity as spectators, broadcasters, engineers and driving teams descend on Northamptonshire destination. This year, you can book a pit walk to get up close to the cars – a unique opportunity to make memories. Learn more here: http://www.silverstone.co.uk/events/2018-formula-1-british-grand-prix/
You may well have heard about this trend that’s taking over the UK, and with better weather now with us, it’s the perfect time to try out the experience yourself. Secret Cinema classes as an “immersive experience” and promises – in its own words, “360 degree participatory Secret Worlds where the boundaries between performer and audience, set and reality are constantly shifting”. Would a British summer events rundown be complete without a mention of Wimbledon? We’re all familiar with the tennis gathering – and whilst this year’s tournament programme is sold out, there will be opportunities for those who queue to win themselves a ‘by day’ grounds admission. Along with the main event (teamed with a serving of strawberries and cream), tennis enthusiasts will find themselves spotting many a famous face in the crowd, including a member of the Royal Family. Of course, you can always watch in a public space or gather with friends and family if waiting in a competitive queue isn’t for you. Read more here:http://www.wimbledon.com/index.html
